Hey all,
Am considering building a set of rock sliders for my 130
A couple of reasons for this:
- costs
- I have extended flares and want the flares to suit
- I want the tube to be the same/similar diameter to the ARB bullbar tube
Advice, assistance, ideas, photos. All welcome.
Have to design mounting brackets that will allow sill tank fitment later

Picked up mine from Danial at Mulgo...pretty affordable, look great and Match nicely with my Tjm bar and flares and most importantly they are strong. I'm happy to post pics tonight if your interested (and I can figure out how)

IMO it is not a good idea to fix the rear end of the slider to the END of the body out riggers. If these "sliders" really are for sliding and jacking, then that sort of attachment is not ideal at all...

I agree Serg, it's on my to-do list to put more bracing on my ones before I finally get around to having them powdercoated :)

I made mine out of 25x75 mild steel box for the mounting rail, and 50mm roll cage material which was mandrel bent. I cant remember the code for the tube but it is seamless. I then uses 30x6 plate to join the slider step onto each out rigger, running it along whole length of each out rigger. There are factory holes there which can be used.
I added 1.5 checker plate for standing on, this also added strength as I'm not a great welder.
Occasionally I have used them as a pivot point to get the old girl trough a tight cluster of trees, and they did the trick. The real plus is the are as wide as the tray, this has helped with sliding down cuttings in unavoidable ruts on crook angles.
