Fuel pump noisy

I'v just replaced the fuel filter in a 1999 td5 now the pump is noisy, sounds as though air is still in the fuel system, iv cycled the key 8 times, but the engine starts and revs normal had it running for 10 mins all ok. is this normal and will it pass or is something up?

Excellent that's what i want to hear! cheers mate. i was a bit worried i may have to fork out 600 odd bucks for a new pump!!

Yes, I was worried when it did it for me, disappeared after a couple of days driving. Made me panic as well...
