I have attached a pdf referring to a PSI strap-on upgrade. The unit I used on my TD5 was excellent in the D2. More grunt with more economy, and when the "sport" button was hit as well, it would really boogy.
When reviewing the pdf data I noted that for the Puma, while the torque and power figures are good they come in later. In fact the stock torque curve is much more useful.
Does anyone have the data on the power and torque curves of the internal software upgrade to the OEM computer for comparison.
Cheers

Rick you must be reading the graph wrong because it comes in earlier as I can see..
And an interceptor box? Really..
Gone are the age of dinosaurs... Flash tuning is the optimum way.
BAS module... For the win

Interceptor box is cheaper.
Flash tuning may be ok, but you can't take it off or resell it or switch between modes. ECU crash/damage/drown, new one plus reprogramming cost. Old PSI on D2 tD5 Econ, Normal, grunt, more grunt.
Horses for courses :)

Cheaper is usually nastier

I can do all of the above. It takes me 10min to re-flash the OEM map before a dealer visit, and I have 2 different maps depending on use.
With BAS/Alive Tuning you only pay once, if your ECU is replaced, they will give you a new map
As you said, horses for courses. But let's make a fair comparison ;)
