An interesting story here...
My brothers Td5 130 kept blowing the main oil filter seal almost every time after he did an oil/filter change which resulted in liters worth of good oil spilling onto the driveway and or road.. Not nice!!
Anyway he took it to the mechanics and said this is the problem, fix it!
The mechanic fitted an oil gauge to see what the pressure was and believe it or not the needle reached and bounced on the max stopper of 150psi:eek2:
So they pulled the oil pump out and discovered that someone in the past had put the relief valve around the wrong way:thumbsdown:
All good and not leaking now but far out it was crazy!!
Something to think about should you ever come to own a Td5 with wildly high oil pressure;)
