Hi all, today I left home and the Puma was going as usual crips and responsive .

Some way up the M5 on my way to Campeblltown the throttle developed very little responce , it wouldn't rev over 2200rpm .

I killed the ignition for an second and re started the truck, all was normal again , But she's not feeling as crisp as before .

Any ideas ?

Definitely check your fuel filter for water.

Air or fuel...
Check bottom turbo hose ( known wear point where it rubs on steering linkage )
Check other turbo hoes for delamination or collaps.
Check air box ducting to snorkel,
After that check with fault reader

Well after draining the water in fuel filter last night the truck was going schweet this morning, all back to normal. I have a new filter on the way and it will be changed by tomorrow morning.

I did do some reading on the standard filter, it is a 5micron filter with a water separator, I see no reason to change a good system, it’s cheap enough to change every service. I think I’ll stick with the standard.

My advice is to fill the filter with clean fuel before fitment. You will not need to 'bleed' the system first then.

Thanks Drover , I also did all these checks and did see a small mark on the bottom turbo hose, nothing to be concerned about as yet . I will be changing the OEM hoses with silicon when I finalize the purchase of new radiator and intercooler.

Does anyone know where the fuel tank breather is on 110’s, I have a funny feeling it maybe the source of the water in my fuel tank.

it should be up behind the rear quarter panel on the passenger side....
however if you fin it on the chassis above the rear wheel it REALLY needs to be moved or extended to avoid the possibility of getting water in the fuel
