Ticked over 1MWh generation on 02 Dec.
1.5kW system on a 15* NW facing roof.
Works out at 6.6kWh/day.

Currently generating 8.5-9.5 kWh on sunny days.

7.2MWh for me so far.

Mine's here: p38arover 3.040kW | Live Output (http://pvoutput.org/intraday.jsp?id=309&sid=271)

Move the cursor around the graph for more info.

Click the little square boxes under the graph for different views.

Click and drag the cursor on the graph to expand a region.

Click on the text below the graph to turn on/off individual graph traces.

On the line starting with "Target", run the cursor over the words for more info.

Run the cursor over the 3.040kW text for a description of my system.

G'day Ron, interesting data on that website.

Q: How do you upload the data, manual or automatic upload?
Just wondering.

Stephen.

Auto upload. I'm using an EnviR energy monitor connected across the incoming mains (it uses a current transformer clipped around the active) to upload to PVOutput.org. The data is saved on an old laptop.

I downloaded the software to monitor the solar inverter and it saves the data to the laptop, too. I have an RS232 cable from the inverter to the laptop.

Shadow, from the Whirlpool forum, wrote a script file to upload the solar generation date from the laptop to PVOutput.

If you click on Favourites at the top of my page, you'll see a link to Bytemrk's page. He's a fellow AULROian.

Edit: It looks like Mark isn't uploading data anymore.

Later edit: hmm, mine didn't restart data upload after I had a power outage this arvo. Best I go and see what's happened.

The Laptop battery didn't outlast the outage. I've just rebooted it.

Change bios settings to restart on power fail :)

I'm running close to 36kw/h a day average at home.

Haven't installed my envir yet but log to laptop!

Get between $1100 and $1500 credit per quarter!

They are but it doesn't.

Lots of sunlight, little cloud, and a big system?

Lots of sun. Excellent position. 5.17kw system.

And remote shift work (me) and shift work (wife and son) means sub 10kwh per day consumption in the house.

It's good fun, just spent another 40k on stock, purchasing a suneye 210, when the dust settles a little I'll put in my own stand alone for a play

Split arrays, energy monitoring, consumption vs generation is the game now

So, with electricity costs of $0.08 per kWh, that is a bit less than $200 per year. How many years payback is that assuming no government cost manipulation?

Where are you buying power for $0.08 kWh????

Closer to $0.24 kWh here...

My system payback is 33 months (2.75years)

Canada.

I'm presently being paid 60 cents/kWh for my generation. I got the interest-free Green Loan to buy mine.

Interesting site Ron but I can find a cracker about who they are. Any pointers?

Who? PVOutput.org?

It's the bankstownbloke on the Whirlpool forum http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/user/362398

Vic is 8c now, think nsw is similar.

I sell at $0.52 per kWh

Yeah your getting the premium feed in tarriff, its all gone to poop now. You'll find now that a lot are going for an east/west array to cover there morning and afternoon loads/usage due to not making a big return from the tarriff.
Some guys from nsw that I did a course with said that they are/have cut the feed in up there to 7c, and the supply authority are going to charge 7c for maintenance and infrustructure or something like that:(, so now a majority of installs are designed for time of use.

My 5kW, west facing system is doing 32 kWhr a day on a sunny December day at the mo, peaking at around 4.6 kWs.

Paying $0.23, getting $0.50 feed in. Planned pay back is just under 4 years.

My 4.56kw is getting around 30kw a day, but has bad westerly shading. Has peaked at 6.190kw using sun tech black label panels. I could cut down trees for a better outcome, but that's not happening.
IF I was going to do it again I'd use Bosch panels.

Not gov paid... Provider paid...

My bill used to be $1400-1600 per quarter...

Now, through changes to infrastructure and behavior & solar we are well in front.
