Gear box parts

Hi guys I'm doing up a 2a 109" 2.6 6cyl got the engine running sweet now (touch wood) and now to the gearbox does anyone know where i can buy a rebuild kit, like syncros and bearings probably i am capable of doing the work myself i just cant find the parts any help would be great.

I don't know of a kit, but most, if not all the parts, are available from most of the suppliers - two close to you would be Modern Motors and All Four x 4. Note that you will need to quote the gearbox number suffix, as some of the bits are different (and there is no guarantee that is the original box!). It is probable that your local bearing supplier can supply the bearings and seals cross referencing the Rover part numbers. You need a parts manual - if you don't have one can I suggest looking at the Rave CD - see "Shop" at the top of this page.

Thanks heaps for that will call up tomorrow and get a quote. I have the 2 part genuine landrover manual! its blood great!
