The wife and I drove from Coffs to Eden today in our/my series 2 Disco. She was as happy as the queen whilst sitting in the passengers seat, but when we swapped seats for a short stint alll she did was whinge that it drove like a grandads car etc etc!! (all the things you expect to hear from someone who doesnt appreciate a fine piece of british engineering when they see one).
Have i done something wrong by not rubbing my enthusiasm, for these wonderful vehicles, off on her?? Can this be fixed or is it just my wifes way of making me do all the driving??
cheers Goose

wifes way of making you do all the driving.....

go buy a series 2 (not disco) and get her to do a stint in that she will soon get that enthusiasm for the disco I can assure you :D

My wife didn't appreciate my Disco 2 either, complained on the Sydney to Coffs trip that the wind noise gave here a headache (she wouldn't drive it and called it the blunderbus).

Easy solution, I bought a Disco 3 HSE and now she is happier (drives it occasionally and complains about the size).
