Anybody know how much oil the swivel pin housing takes as I am about to change them and need to get the oil.

Have checked and it is pre the one shot grease update.

I assume it takes the same oil as the diffs & transfer case 80-90 EP.

Also does anyone know how many grease nipples the are on the Disco.

ps: reading up on this, it appears you can use one shot grease instead of oil, which way would you recomend.

I like the one shot as a replacement. Less leak possibilities and the the grease is loaded with moly, good for old cv's.

I decided to stay with oil over one shot grease, mainly so that I can see if it leaks.

I used Nulon 80w-90 gearbox & diff oil, each side holds 500ml,

The oil in the passenger side was down but black, so no water contamination there.

The drivers side was a brown watery sludge (see pic) so it was water contaminated.

I think I counted 7 or 8 grease nipples.

Posted a couple of pics of the swivel housing and the fill holes for those who may not be sure what to look for.

Thanks mate,

I will probably go that way next time, I just want to see how much if any leakage there is this time.
