northsiders drive?

Want to get more use out of madge so was thinking of a quiet series speed drive for those of us on the northside of brisvegas

nothing too adventurous just a touristy drive on some dirt or something just a bit different?

anyone got some ideas or somewhere they could recommend ?

maybe sunday 13th Jan with a something like a 08:30 start somewhere central

any interest in working something out?

How far do you want to head Dave? Kenilworth to Jimna (Sunday Creek Road) is a nice easy drive on the dirt but a bit of a hike to get there. Or there is still plenty of dirt round Glass House Mountains that's not to serious. (Atleast I hope there still is and they haven't locked it all down.) And there is always the loop at Mt Mee with a couple of exciting side tracks for the more adventurous.

i started out thinking maybe meet at bp south cab then caboolture -> beerburrum -> woodford -> bellthorpe -> jimna for picnic lunch and back via sunday creek -> kennilworth -> landsborough -> coochin creek afternoon tea -> home

would certainly make a day of it :p

just have to check whats open and what condition it is in a i havent been thru there in a while...

I would have been keen Dave, even though I'm not one of you northsiders, but Dan has organised a series trip with the other club for that weekend.
