Bad fuel in VIC?

I drove out today to find a garage that would drain my fuel tank to get rid of some suspect diesel. First place said they couldn't do it because they had so many people in with fuel problems that their storage tank was full!

Maybe they just didn't want to do it and were trying to fob me off, but got me wondering - with the recent diesel shortages around Melbourne has anyone else experienced bad fuel recently?

One of the sevo's over my way had the no fuel signs out but where still giving out 50 litres to those who asked:mad:
A mate droped 200 into his truck and it ran horrible.
He ran it low a filled with good fuel, better but it now needs fuel filters changed.

Some outlets are fealing the pinch with lose of sales so they are happy to drop the tanks lower than they should.
