What's everyone doing for the holidays?
Personally, I'm sitting in a hotel room in Hanoi :D
We've got a family connection in Vietnam, this will be the third time I've been here.
Wonderful place, absolutely love it :)
Only seen one Landrover so far, and that was an RRS.
So what is everyone else up to?
Best wishes, hope everyone stays safe :)
Cheers

North west coast of Tassie! Arrive on 27th Dec. Leave on 1st Jan. 4wd'ing, fishing, wine, cheese and generally relaxing! :) Hopefully not too much rain. ;)
I haven't been to Vietnam, but I've been to Laos, Thailand and Cambodia. My favourite was Laos. Have you been?

I've been to Laos, really beautiful place. Great people, great beer (Beer Lao) and great food.
I loved it so much I got a permanent souvenir and left something really valuable behind.*
*left behind some blood and skin, got a large stainless steel plate inserted into my leg to remember the trip.

lol Not what I had in mind... Where did you get that done? I was under the impression there was very limited medical assistance available. It was a few years ago now, but I'm sure the lonely planet guide said the best medical care available to an Australian was to go to the capital city and go to the Australian embassy. With that being the case, I was certainly not looking to hurt myself!
I'm going to guess you were in Vang Vieng?

Ah looking forward to mine.
A week in Thredbo including some mountain bike riding, drinking nice wine and beer, walks, drinking more nice wine and beer , an 4wd trip and overnight into the Vic High country where I have some beer and wine.
Then back to Sydney for a day or two and driving North for a week up near the tweed, this time surf mixed with, you guessed it some more beer and wine.
Nearly perfect !
And it is only a problem if I can not stop, I can I just choose not to !

At work until the afternoon of the 27th. Hoping to get away in the bush for a few days in the New year though.

A couple of family get-togethers.
Then a few days camping, shooting, riding bikes, swimming, and generally lazing... as much as you can with a 2, 5, and 8YO.
