Finally got rid of the 265 70s MTZs. I can now listen to radio at 100kph.

However, going back to 245 75s rather than 235s I find that the speedo is now 10% too slow; ie 110 indicated for 100 actual (gps). (similar down at 60). The 265s were only a couple of percent slow. The OEM 235s must be outrageous if the speedo in my SVX hasn't been "adjusted".

Question - Can the Puma/D3 speedos be adjusted digitally with "dealer" box?

cheers

Why? the standard 235's are an 85 profile.....

they measure up theoretically at 31.75" in diamater

265/75's are nigh on the same overall height too at 31.65".

Your 245/75's are the ones that are miles out... they are only theoretically a 30.5" tyre.. No wonder the speedo is out...

As for adjusting the speedo, ask the dealer.

What the heck did you go to that size for?

You've wrecked your:
Gearing
Speed
Ground clearance..

Ahhh! had four STs - didn't check rolling dia.

Looks like an "assume" moment.

265 70 was TOO big, was rubbing on rear spring towers around town, as well as making too much MTZ noise.
