g day all just seeing if any one could tell me if the top half of a series 3 would fit on the top of a defender

i am not sure but for some reason i am thinking the roof is different and the width of the cab might be wider on a defender

The coil sprung Landrover windscreen is higher so the roof is not interchangeable - you could fit a Series 3 windscreen but this would have problems with wipers due to the split screen, and the reduced screen area may have legal implications. The rear panel is interchangeable, but again, the seat belt mounts may have legal problems.

I am pretty sure you will find that the rear bulkhead (behind the seats ) is further from the Front bulkhead on the defender than the S3. So the back of the roof won't match the rear bulkhead of the car.
