HELP! How the heck do I clean this up?

Hi all

Started hosing out Bluey yesterday, now I've got more than I bargained for and have no idea what to do. As I was washing it out, I hosed a bit just up under the rear windows and heaps of reddish water came out, so I figured I'd need to remove the plastic trim to get to this properly. So you can see from the photos what is behind there, I think I can deal with this, but??

First question is, what is the trick to remove the top bolt holding the seatbelts? Secondly I've tried every cleaning product in my place on these trims to see if I can remove the scuff/sticker marks but nothing works - do I give up and see if I can get replacements?

not sure what to do with the seat belts, but hand cleaner or upholstery cleaner works well on plastic. Let it sit and use a tooth brush and soft bristle scrub brush.
On the roof lining try wet ones.

:) hi to remove the seatbelt prize the cap off the top of the seatbelt bolt ,it's only pushed on then undo the 17mm bolt .To clean the trim try a bit of meths ,if that doesn't work try a bit of petrol ,then wash with soapy water ,mr sheen is good on plastic .:)

I've found a good ring spanner & rubber mallet will undo the seatbelt bolt.

Autoglym interia shampoo scrubbed in with a nail brush, followed up with their vinyl & rubber care has cleaned mud and mould stains from the side trims on my old Defender.

Found I had to use kitchen surface wipes (Wet ones but with added bleach) worked well on the headlining. Check a small area first though with the kitchen wipes.

I've had success with eucalyptus oil and chux magic erasers - used separately of course. The oil works well and you get the fresh smell of gum trees to boot, and the magic erasers, well, they're pretty darned good at removing all sorts of marks from all sorts of surfaces - including the plastics.

A little south of Broome it's commonly referred to as 'Pilbara Pink' - everything, (washing, buildings, vehicles etc.) around Port Hedland suffers from it.
