Lost only KEY!!!!

G'day All, had the one and only key for my D2 stolen out of the car last weekend. Had a replacement priced by locksmith $800 key only.... Is this what it costs. Does anyone know of somewhere in Perth that may cut me a key cheaper than this.? Only require the key as the alarm has been disabled.

Mate I got a brand new key from a dealer programmed for $330 and I felt like a shower after that, I'm sure if you hunt around you will find cheaper, but I did have a key for them to copy!! Best of luck mate! I do know now you can get blank keys from eBay for about $20-$30, it may be cheaper to buy a new lock and key from a LR dealer but ring around and try all your options before you fork out $800 best of luck

Definitely check with your nearest Land Rover dealer. I had a new key supplied, cut and programmed for around $330. Also given EKA upon request at the time key supplied.

I have a blank key.. If you get the lock profile code from LR then a locksmith could cut it.

You can order a key from LR by quoting the VIN. You may need to prove you own the car.
