We all are aware of the events that we have during this week which have left us upset because in the way that Inc, the admin and moderators have been treated by a minuscule minority in the forum.
Now, at the end of the year and Xmas festivities we take this opportunity to thank all of them for the time and dedication that they have put during the year and offer our support in the future in the same way that was given by us in the past and wish Dave and his team a very happy Xmas and an awesome 2013.
Happy Xmas and 2013 for you all

Just me, maybe the best way to back Admin. & the mods, is to buy a subscription. That's what I did when it started getting a bit fruity on here.
Have a safe holiday everyone, I don't want to see any of you at my work ;)

+1 to the subscription idea. I've decided after using this site for almost 10 years, it's about time I paid my way!
Bloody hell this joint has saved me some time and dough over that time! I've had landys for much longer than that, but I remember how hard it was to find info, parts and other landy lovers before the internet!
Cheers,
Adam

+1 to all the above. Inc and the mods put in so much time and effort so we can all enjoy this place, and unfortunately most who find it useful are not able to directly thank them.. I really hope the few who do give greif don't overshadow to many who have a great respect for all involved.
Thanks, and happy Christmas to Inc, the mods and everyone in AULRO who does the right thing.

I know, right? Feels pretty good too! Should have done it ages ago, I reckon AULRO has saved me hundreds, if not thousands over the years.
Back before I new there was such as thing as internet (pre-1997) I had a Series 3 wagon. It was an absolute beauty, completely original except for an overdrive. I could barely keep the thing on the road though because parts were impossible to find, expensive and no one worked on the damn things! Eventually I had to sell it because it all got too hard. If only AULRO had been available then I would still have that old girl... sigh...
Thanks to all that keep the place going, thanks for putting up with my occasional rants and head-explosions too!
Have a great Xmas everyone, and a safe and happy new year.
:twobeers:
Cheers,
Adam

Merry Christmas and Happy New year to all.:twobeers:
I do miss all of the 'sub forums that cannot be named'; even the mudpit - remember that:tease::toilet::cool:?
The main reason I call this forum LR Home is for the LR content. The other stuff just keeps me reading for longer:Rolling:.
We will rebound and have a corker of a year in 2013. Especially since there will actually be a 2013:eek2:.

If it wasn't for this forum, I would have bought a toyota,..... I know ,go to the naughty corner. Thank you Inc., & all moderators , without your input, this forum would not exist. And , Merry Xmas, Happy survivors day [ 21/12 2102], thank all of you for the input that helped me understand my vehicle a little better. Bob

I love this forum, as a member of 5 different forums this is the one Im on everyday due to the huge variety of posts from different members, others might have more members but only get a few who actually post. I agree with others this forum was invaluable when I was doing my build up! Best of luck to all those behind the scenes, have a great Xmas and a fantastic new year and may this great site to continue to prosper and share valuable information to others who have made the fabulous decision to become LR owners
Cheers

Thanks Arthur.
As a long time member here and also a moderator,Im finding it hard to enjoy AULRO like I once did.
Maybe its the huge growth of the place, one upon a time one new the regular posters.Perhaps the huge influx on members has imported alot of this angst that makes one feel "why bother".
Will I pack my bags and leave???,no way I have faith in the way the place is run,we will weed out what isnt needed here.I will have a great Xmas break and come back refreshed.

What more can I say. All the previous posters in this thread have said it all. I second the lot.
Merry Christmas ever one.

What can one say that hasn't already been said, thanks everybody for making it such a great place.
We've met lovely people who we have the privalige ('s) of being able to call friends, and look forward to meeting many more.
It must be hard as a moderator, being responsible for knowing what's classed as right and wrong sometimes, but hey, someone has to do it to help keep us all in line, as I'm sure we all have bad days and just forget where we are.
Thanks guys, and have a wonderful Xmas and a happy new year.

Absolutely. I have no problem renewing mine knowing how much the value equation is massively in my favor. And well... I honestly just love this place!
I do often wish we had a Annual National AULRO meet somewhere so we could all get a "non web based" appreciation for each other though. I honestly believe we simply misinterpret each other a lot of the time due to not being able to see the odd wry smile or the twinkle in an eye.
I really enjoy the strong sense of community I get from AULRO (both on-line and in person at trips/drive days) and honestly hope it continues to grow and prosper (along with its maker and his mates!). The rest of the www could gain a lot from seeing how well it is all done here, and come to think of it so could a huge part of society in general.
In saying all that, I hope anyone I have had passionate (or even mildly crazy!) exchanges with over the last 12 months can appreciate that none of it was ever intended to be personal or deliberately hurtful. Especially Inc Almighty and his band of merry mod's!
Please try to accept that just because we have different opinions and ideals doesn't mean we aren't able to get along and continue to enjoy the diversity that makes us truly unique, interesting and attractive as a community.
Merry Everything to Everyone! And a very HNY!
Love and kisses,
Dave (& Jo and kids).

As said above, thanks to all especially Incisor and his team of Moderators who endeavour to keep the ship on an even keel. Have a merry Christmas and Happy new Year and most of all to those who are travelling on the roads to be with loved ones, drive carefully and take care. My wife and I and no. 2 son are going up to Townsville to be with our other 2 sons for a couple of days. Looks like it is going to be a wet Christmas up here, months without rain and it started yesterday morning and still hasn't let up. Water tanks are overflowing and the yard is starting to turn green again:D Great stuff.
