Gday guys/gals,
Just wondering if someone can give me a tutorial (read "teach me") how to post pics from an iPhone4.
Mostly these days I use my phone to post here, and I obviously can take pics with it, and I would like to be able to post said pics in some of the threads I'm involved with.
I've tried, but I can't seem to "link" them to here.
Any and all help would be greatly appriciated :D

It's no different to any other camera. You have transfer the pix from the camera to the PC then upload them as one normally would.
Or are you using the phone to access AULRO?

Yeh Ron, I use my phone for access on this site (and others) because my old comp is so slow. Not to mention even just tripping around as we do, it's good to always have the Internet handy.
I use the Safari APP that comes with the phone,, no problems with that side of things, I just don't know how to post a pic directly from my phone. Quite annoying and frustrating really

When you go to post a message in Safari, you get the message box with a number of icons above it. CLick on the paperclip and a new Safari window will open. Click the Choose File button and then select Choose Existing. Once you have have chosen your pictures then click on the Upload button. The phone will now upload the image. Once done click on Close This Window. Now finish the post.
Pretty much the same as if you were using a Mac or PC.

Ahh, Marcus, I've never done it from my iPhone. I shall have to try Derek's method.

I don't have a paper clip icon. I do have the img & web icons, but both ask for a web address, and do not give the option of choosing a file on your phone. Is that ability a subscribers only one?

I don't think so (Ron - do you know?) But I do know it doesn't appear when you use the quick reply, so make sure to use the "Post Reply".
The forum is enabled for the ForumRunner app (costs a few dollars though) and this is a lot easier to use than the safari browser.

Should have also pointed out this adds the image as an attachment and not as an inline image from a URL.
To use the inline (image tags) you will need to load the image to somewhere like the galleries in AULRO, Flickr, Photobucket, etc and then use the image's URL.

I just tested Derek's method with Post Reply using my iPad and it works. I've never used the paper clip before. Thanks Derek.
I don't know if it's a subscriber only feature.
Now to try it on my iPhone.

Well, I have the paper clip, just like on the comp, I can't seem to do the big image posting even on the comp, so an attachment is fine for my needs, so I'll see if I can do it right now :)
 No, it won't let me choose a file, only a URL address thingy, which I don't have. :(

The only pic I have on my iPad is this one I took for this test (I'm in bed) and, apparently, the iPad is upside down.

What version of iOS are you running on the iPhone 4. I have an iPhone 4 but am on iOS 6. I know this also worked on iOS 5 and I can't see anything in the settings that would prevent it.
