Today's been a good day

Gday All,

Had a good day today, and it's all because we managed to find a phone number.

A long story short, 18 yrs ago a friend saved my life, if it hadn't have been for him it was all over for me, and we stayed in contact as normal.

2 years ago we just lost contact with each other, and thru circumstance we just never seemed to find each other, but today we managed to get back in touch, and it has made my day, week,year.:D:D:D

So armed with new numbers there's no reason for it to happen again anytime soon.

A good early christmas present.

Wasn't the crocodile incident near Gove was it....? Just asking, as that sounded pretty frightening when you mentioned it a while ago.

Good that you managed to get in touch again.

I guess you'll be able share a beer or two in the future... and have a lot to catch up on after so many years.

Merry Christmas to yours as well.

Yes it was the croc attack, and at the time Louise was 7 months pregnate with our 2nd daughter, so I am reminded daily of how lucky I am to still be here.

Anyway, a good long chat on the phone today and it seemed like yesterday since we last seen each other, and yep a nice cold beverage or 3 will well be on the card.
