I was at a wedding in Metung and eyeballed that Rangie rolling around town. Certainly sounded different to the common garden variety 3.9. :D

I'm doing some homework with respect to putting an LS1 in the disco so I'd be really interested to know/see what they had to do with respect to the conversion (including the gas).

What photo hosting site are you using? Most should allow you to put a direct link in (the ones with [img] tags in it).

Not an issue, sign up for a photo hosting site like photobucket or imageshack for free and then you upload your photos to there. You can then link to those photos in the forum.

Good questions Cal, I think I may need to have a chat with rovercare about a Gen3 conversion in the future if that's the case.

Its not my conversion, it looks neat though:)fit and finish has a little to be desired though
I had stopped doing conversions for people, but hopefully within the next few months, I have secured a mechanic from the UK, whom used to build very fast evil pommy buzz boxes, so I am hoping to set him up out of my shed, so I may be looking to drum them back up again
With his excellent work standard and my technical support (to busy playing electrician these days to do full converions on my pat malone) it should work well, with the as always, low overheads
He will be partaking in hte rest of my duramax conversion, so he can glean the how too's on them aswell

From all the information I have been able to find the engine mounts are a custom job as no production items have been made up as yet.

You can buy ls to chev adaptor plates for the engine mounts then use chev to rover, but then you still use the crappy rover mount

Thats normal, they are crap anyway
The chev to rover mounts are from marks, chev to ls from the likes of summit racing

Better off just using the LS mounts and doing some work to fit them to the stock chassis?
