Hi all,
Happy new year! The warranty of my 09 puma is going to be expired by the end of Feb, thinking about to have an independent LR specialist to check the truck and list the things to be fixed by stealers under warranty.

Any good independent LR specialist to recommend? I'm living in the southeastern suburban of Melbourne, but don't mind visiting any good LR mechanics within 200 km.

Thanks in advance.

I would most definitely recommend:

Fred Smith Automotive,
30 Havelock Road,
Bayswater, 3153,
9720 4999.

Some 40+ years working on Landies, Extremely knowledgeable. What he doesn't know about Land Rovers isn't worth knowing.
And a damn nice fellow who loves talking about Landies and ex-military Landies!

Also worth a mention:

Peninsular Rangie,
26 Kookaburra Street,
Frankston, 3199.
9783 4303.

These are Independent Land Rover specialists, now whilst I will admit that I have not yet used these myself I know of a fair few club (LROCV) members who are all down that way (and some who are not local) who rate them very highly.

I second Fred Smith - He'll find it if it needs fixing.
