Not for everyone I admit, but probably one of the best movies I have seen, Director Tom Hooper has done an absolutely first class job , in a movie in which every word, almost, is sung, not spoken.Much better than the stage version, because of what film can do. Hugh Jackman IS the movie, supported by Rusty Crowe, and a superb talented cast. As I said, perhaps not for everyone, but if you want first class entertainment, have a look at it. Bob

Bob
If it's any consultation I changed all five shocks on the D2 yesterday and I listened to Les Miserables (10 th Anniversary) about 6 times.
The movie appears to be getting a good wrap.

I thought I posted this, but guess finger trouble happened when dinner came to the table. Just saw the movie, Les Mis. one of the best I've seen, Director Tom Hooper managed to make a movie where the dialogue is almost completely sung, Hugh Jackman IS the movie, ably supported by Rusty Crowe, and a fantastic cast. Not everyones cup of tea,I guess, but one of the best I've seen. Wortha look, Bob

Les Mis review by Sam Richardson ..... Went to the movies with the wife. We saw this obscure movie I have never heard of, some French foreign film. They must have been giving away free tickets because the line was out the door. Anyway, the movie starts and Wolverine is singing his guts out. Then Catwoman starts crying and singing, and it's all very moving. The only problem was, the old lady next to me, who had apparently read the book or something, starts singing along. It was very distracting. So Wolverine is on the run from the Gladiator, because Catwoman had a baby at Borats house, but now she wants Wolverine to care for her. Time skip ...... Bunch of kids get shot, and in the end everyone dies. 4 1/2 stars. :D
