How much oil???

Anyone, how much ATF do you need to replace when doing an oil and filter change on a Disco 1 ZF auto, Thanks, regards Frank.

According to the workshop manual 9.1L for the auto box.

Is that all you want?

I don't think you get to replace all the fluid, as some is trapped in the torque converter, but when I did mine, including emptying the cooler and replacing the cooler lines, I used about 8 litres filling it back up

A straight filter change requires about 4 litres.
If you are keen and want to completely flush the system by undoing one cooler pipe, starting up , pumping 1 litre, topping up etc etc , then it takes 8+.
I have only ever done the 4 litre type. Most of the gunge sits in the sump and filter so that is all that needs doing if regularly done.
