So now the kids are preferring to ride in the County over the D3 :D
Only issue is for them getting in and out as I don't have side steps.
I've been looking around at wreckers for side steps, though they seem to be the first item to go.
Am I able to fit newer model 110/Defender side steps to the 85 County ?
I've seen 2006, 2009 ones for sale, though not sure if they would be a direct fit.
Thanks for the help.
Bashir.

Hi
Unfortunately I can't answer your question exactly. But I have an '85 county and fitted Rovacraft tree sliders no problems. I would not have thought there much change on the outriggers on the chassis over the years.
There strictly not side steps, but in a lesser way act as a side step. Surely the supplier like Rovercraft or Mulgo, etc. can tell you tell you whether they will fit or not as a condition of order.

:) Hi iv'e got a 86 110 county, plus 110 extreme. I took the land rover folding side steps off the county, and replaced them with one piece side steps the same as my extreme. the point is the fixing points matched up on the outriggers so whatever way you go there not to difficult to fit . regards jimr1.:)

hi bashir,
your kids obviously know a vehicle with lots of character then! :)
i have arb side steps from a 2002/3 110 fitted straight to my 1985 county, no difference. i suspect puma defender chassis are also the same in this department. i have a 2008 coming in next week, i will take a look.
