Ladies & Gents
I'm off for a little while, its been lots of fun. I can't name everyone but thank you to everyone that assisted with their knowledge in my Disco 4 journey. The D4 was my 3rd Land Rover, a Freelander 2 & Defender 110 TD5 Wagon its priors. I will always stay faithful to the brand however I am thinking along the lines of a Defender single cab tray-back for my next..
I don't want step on any forum rules :wasntme: but for the info of all (D4 specific) I removed most of my accessories before trade, these are in the marketplace.
For those that have to know... and I know I will cop come criticism, I stepped out of the Discovery 4 into a 2012 HSV SV Clubsport (Yes my wife hates it).
Cheers Rob :D

This is a great site for info and have enjoyed it.

But time for a change after 6 yrs of Discos
But I do not want to tell ya what has replaced it. :o:o:[bigwhistle]
 Bye for now Ken

Hi guys,
Got to be honest, I'm not sure why you have to leave. It's an enthusiasts site. Can't you still be classed as enthusiasts? And why can't you have many and varied interests?
I think it's sad you both feel that you should leave. The site will be a poorer place for the lose of your input.
I wish you both the very best luck for the future.
Cheers
Nino.

All the best Rob but you will be back...... After a RRS 2007 I stepped into a 2010 Clubsport but have just traded it in for a 2012 D4SE. Loved the clubbie but it's great to be back. Enjoy the different ride.
Cheers

Hi Guys,
Looks like I'll be leaving the Landrover scene as well. Put my D4 up on car sales last night.
Been a hard decision to make as I have enjoyed my D4 and can't fault it.

Thanks heaps to all you guys that have passed on their valuable advice & information over the years.

Will still keep in touch on the forum though.

Cheers, Craig
BTW: If you know of anyone wanting a immaculate D4 3.0SE, let me know.

Had to say a final goodbye to my D4 this morning:(
At least it has gone to a good home......another AULRO member from QLD.

Hopefully it brings as much enjoyment to the new owner as it brought to me.

I'll still visit the site.

Cheers, Craig

I read in today's paper that Holdens and fords are history and will be phased out by 2016.
There goes an Icon of Australia.

I wouldn't count either Ford or Holden out just yet, to me sounds like the beginning of another massive Government hand out is being asked for and chances are they will get it.

My wife drives a D3, I drive a Commodore SSV. We love both! The smooth delivery from over 6 litres of V8 is a sheer delight!
