Long time no post, 2001 Td5 defender, 250 on the clock, been good apart from a clutch and a fuel pump .. love her until yesterday.
Yesterday I put new brakes on the old girl, and noticed how dirty she was, unlike my gf, I do not like my landies that dirty, so I got the fire house out and gave her a good old soaking and got 4.2 ton of old mud out of her.
Fast forward today, and drove her up to the road to get some fuel, stopped at the servo, and noticed a puddle under her (4wd not my gf) and looking at it it was red.. crap my radiator :(
It was a good puddle, no drips etc, and it seems to be coming from the drivers side but I can not actually see the leak, at 250, on the same radiator and never loosing a drop I think its time to get a new one.
Looking at it, the aircon seems to loop over the top of it, how do you remove it without moving the Aircon Condenser (not that its working atm, read my other sob story).
Any tips on removing it, searching here seems hard to find anything about it, some d2's etc, but not a defender with a aircon ?
Any help would be grateful..
