Shocking news from Tassie regarding the bushfires. I hope all our AULROians down there are all ok. Justin(justinc) and Arthur(wrinklearthur) are two that come to mind.

I hope you guys and any other members are Ok.

Thanks Dave, we are OK but I am getting increasingly worried about some friends on the peninsula and especially at Dunalley:(
No power grid left, and no phone towers.

Yes, I've just watched the news, not good at all, sounds like they experienced similar to King Lake and Marysville. Very disturbing and very sad.
We were down there a couple of years ago, the Peninsula is a very beautiful place.
Hopeing all our Aulroians are ok.

Our best wishes go to all whom are affected and hoping they can rebuild their lives and homes quickly.

We were also down there at the end of 2010 and I remember the 90degree turn at Dunalley. Wouldn't have thought they would lose that many homes, very sad.

Shocking to hear. Living in Victoria, with Black Saturday still a vivid memory, and hearing the stories from that event (and I don't live that far from it) my heart really goes out to these people.

Lets just hope they all get out alive. As devastating as it can be, possessions can be replaced, precious lives can not
