D2 brake reservoir leak (I'm guessing)

Question is can the reservoir seals be replaced or is it better to replace master cylinder and reservoir?

Noticed fluid dripping onto driveway, have traced back to brake reservoir. Having had a search, it appears most replace the master cylinder and reservoir. A guy in Tassie (b4wdaust) sells the grommets/seals on ebay.

The fluid level has dropped below min in 1.5 days since I parked her Friday night after the 42+ degree day. I'll top up the fluid this arvo before moving the car.
Wondering if the system has to be bleed if replacing just the seals?

Any hints, tips, slap of the head thinking of such a thing would be welcomed. :p

I had the same thing happen on mine, discovered the day after picking it up and fixed by the dealer.

The gist was that you'll more than likely break the reservoir getting it off, so you are best going for a kit which includes a replacement.

I have replaced mine, it is quite straight forward. The plastic reservoir is held on by a wire clip. You need to unclip the water bottle to make room for the wire to slide forward.

It helps to grind a bevel on the two ends of the wire clip to help with the reinsertion. Also a second pair of hands also helps a lot here as well.:)

No need to bleed the brakes afterwards either.
