HI Forumites,
I have a 2007 RRS with the in-built headrest DVD system, I have two Clarion VMA 5196 screens in the headrests two wireless headsets a Clarion VS755 mobile video system together with an Alpine digital TUE-T200DVB mobile digital TV reciever (DVB-T).
Taking a bit of a trip soon so I thought I would check the systems works, I have never used it before, my daughter is coming hence the reason I now need the system to work.
So I switched on the VS755 unit and inserted a DVD, the rear screens worked, the DVD came on splendid, at this point things started to go wrong.....
I put the wireless headset on and nothing, changed batteries in both headsets, still nothing, I can hear an audio hum type noise very faint but not the movie, then after about a minute or two the headset switches itself off, once activated the headset again I go through the same procedure. I changed the batteries in the remote and have investigated the system through the menu screen without any luck.
I'm also trying to adjust the angle of the screen, every time I press this a small white hand appears on the screen and nothing else happens, what does the little white hand mean, no mention of this in the instruction book, which I have now read, I can't find any reference to the little white hand or the headphones.
The digital TV gizmo, that doesn't seem to work at all, I'm going to assume this is a "source" issue that I have to find, any clues about this?
