So, riding my old SR500 up a ramp into the defender I managed to shear both hinges of the tailgate. Here is a picture of the RHS.

Does anyone know where I can buy replacement parts? I've made some calls but no one so far has been able to help.

I'd like to exhaust all sources for genuine parts before I have some made to fit.

Cheers,
Lachie

Karcraft (Silverwater) or BMI (Mulgrave) are major importers near Sydney and should be able to help.

As an aside, the Series 3 HCPU had a lot of what look like the same hinges across their tailgate, whereas the 110 and 130 HCPU's do with two.

I got one for my 130 at Karcraft, cost about $50, from memory.
My (1995) 130 has four hinges. Apparently they could be ordered that way as a heavy duty tailgate.

Some of the weight I slide across my tailgate I should add a couple more.

Have to order some catches ATM, I've broken the retaining spring on both now and they're popping open on rough roads.
