I mentioned in an earlier thread when I bought the 130 that the panel where the tail lights were mounted interfered badly with departure angle and would have to go. Thought some may be interested to see the replacement, which relocates the tail-lights, wins back the departure angle, mounts the spare wheel (second spare wheel mount still to be fabricated) plus packs a little bonus.
I will never complain about the prices of this type of stuff again, there was several full days fabricating involved in this.
The second spare wheel mount will be interchangeable with a jerry-can carrier and toolbox for chainsaw etc, as occasion demands.

Why not put the 2nd spare on the bonnet? I think they look great there. Then you can have permanent jerry can, or whatever, mounted on the (great looking) rear bar.

I had a spare mounted on the bonnet of my series 3 about 25 years ago, whilst I like the look of the bonnet-mounted spare wheel, I didn't like the way it interfered with my view of the track. To put one on (or rather over) the Puma bonnet they have to be quite a bit higher again, so worse in my opinion. I would personally only carry a second spare for outback trips which, unfortunately, don't happen that often for me. Problem is, of course, that is when the jerry cans are most needed also, so perhaps just a tyre without rim on the roof will be the solution. 120 litre tank is probably sufficient for most trips but there's bound to be some conflict. Be nice to have the jerry holder there most of the time, for trips to the servo for tractor & mower fuel. But then maybe a bonnet-mount for the outback trips.....Hmmmm.

Rear winch fitting: Very nice!

One-off fabrication is always slow going. Finished product looks great though.

Very nice to see that some has brains to put a winch on the rear. To me it makes sence to pull yourself "out of trouble" and "not into it", way to go.
