Is it necessary, when fitting new O2 sensors, to reset the ECU?
If yes to above, is there anyone nearby with a suitable unit to assist with reset?
I am waiting on an email from BBS re a Nanocom Evo II purchase.

I fitted mine a while ago with no ECU reset.
All running a dream......except for a recently blown fuel pump (not related, BTW!)

I had a BMW M3 which had a similar motronic to the D2 and it recognised new sensors immediately.
A fault was logged and remained in the ECU, but this did not affect the operation.
To get rid of the fault you have to reset, but it has no practical effect.

I would like your advice regarding removal & refit of the sensors.
I have read the RAVE instructions, Simple, except I do not have octopus arms. Trouble reaching connector, particularly on OS exhaust, just reach on NS.
How did you remove from mounting clips? & then reach to disconnect, reconnect?
