My Dads RRS TDV6 (2005 build) has developed a leak at the fuel filter. The filter was replaced (by me) relatively recently. It is now leaking at one of the push on pipe connectors. The leaking connector moves freely about 5mm or so up and down, but will not come off without pushing in the release buttons. When refitted it clicks onto place. All the other connectors don't move.

Is it a common issue for these to leak? Is it likely to be the o ring in the connector? Can it or the connector be replaced? Or is it the filter itself?

For interests sake:

I fitted a genuine LR filter yesterday. The filter came with a clip to retain two of the pipes, one of which was the leaking one.
It would appear that the leak is fixed. It would want to be too, the filter cost me nearly $200 from the Adelaide LR dealer (trade price).

Most spare parts places have those filters for about $30.

I had fitted a non genuine filter and induced a leak.
