Interchangeable D3/D4 parts

Is there a definitive list of D3/D4 parts that are interchangeable between the two models?

I know I've seen D4 rear light clusters on a D3, but what about other parts?
The rear bumper looks a close fit, but haven't had them side by side to see.

There is a reason behind the stupid question, hopefully will be able to post all about it soon.:D

Be aware that some D3 parts are not interchangeable between the various D3 models, particularly between pre MY07 and MY07 onwards. The D4 is a D3 model update given a new name to go with the 3.0 engine, a more plush interior and various small improvements.

Thanks Graeme. To be a little more clear, I'm comparing a MY07 D3 versus an early D4.

Not a lot of mechanical difference that I know of: D4 has lower suspension roll centres but wishbones should be interchangeable in pairs, shocks are interchangeable although different valving, 2.7 brakes same on both but front mudguards are different to at least pair with their respective bumpers. However no ecu that connects to the high speed canbus can be swapped to the other because of differing canbus protocols without even considering stored VIN restrictions.

From what I've read around the last few days, a number of body panels/mouldings seem to fit (some with modifications), but electronics seem to be almost totally new for the D4.

Just as a follow up to my original question, what modifications are needed to fit a D4 rear bumper to a D3?

It looks like I'd need to replace the rear hitch (the plough) with the higher D4 style hitch, but is that it? Do the rear arch mouldings fit correctly with the updated bumper, and the rear light cluster?
