Yes, that's a nice one.

I can vouch for the EAS mod where the system is effectively cut off from power when the ignition is switched off.

I wonder if he ever found a way to install those lovely looking blend motors ...

I added more info on the blend motor fix with a how too and an Australian source of new potentiometer for less than $2 all in a AULRO thread. I also included a link and thanks to Stockholmviews who gave me inspiration to fix my blend motor.
