75% of the world's smart phones run Android a Linux based based operating system.

94% of the worlds fastest computers run Linux 94 Percent of the World's Top 500 Supercomputers Run Linux | Linux.com (http://www.linux.com/news/enterprise/high-performance/147-high-performance/666669-94-percent-of-the-worlds-top-500-supercomputers-run-linux-)

These are facts. I'd be interested to know why you think they are delusions....

your mixing sales figures with userbase figures

real world stats show that in dec 2012 android ran on 22% of the smart phone sets currently in use so how can it be that 75% of all smart phones run android?

IOS had 48%+ of the smart phone sets in use in dec 2012

in the last 1/4 2012 android based units made up 75% of all smart phone sales

i was one of them ;)

and just as useless a bit of information is the fact that 65% of the worlds biggest money making servers run a variant of bsd and the next 15% run windows...

go figure...

all sort of interesting reading here (http://www.netmarketshare.com/operating-system-market-share.aspx?qprid=8&qpcustomd=1)

My wife runs a few websites and checked the Google Analytics the other day for the first time in a while. She got the shock of her life. It used to be Internet Explorer first and daylight second as the browser used to view them. Now it is Safari on ios devices and macs a clear winner with ie down the list. Android was way down. What do the stats say about aulro? I mostly look at it on an ipad, sometimes an android phone and rarely my win 7 laptop where I use Chrome.

I would be worrying if I was Microsoft. Are they dead in the mobile/tablet market or what? Tablets are booming and PC sales and repairs seem to be falling off a cliff.
