but not like this--
Audi takes cars that park themselves to a whole new level (http://www.autoblog.com/2013/01/11/audi-takes-cars-that-park-themselves-to-a-whole-new-level/#continued)

Why bother teaching people to drive at all?
Id be cranky If I got caught up behind one of them doing its buggerall KPH in a lot while it worked out where it could park. but then what would the owner care?
hows it going to get out past the boom gates of a pay lot?
If I ever saw one going into a lot unattended, Id follow it then put a couple of witches hats in front of it when it was done parking.

I hope this technology doesn't catch on - why bother even owning a car if it's going to do it all for you. You may as well catch the bus ...

Whats the bet it would drive to the nearest disabled parking spot and park itself there.

In that Case, Id boot it or chain it to the wall to see what it would do.

Wonder what happens if your phone goes dead in your pocket while you're in shopping, and then you don't know where the car has parked itself???

can you imagine the insurance policy needed?!
car malfunctions and kills someone; who gets sued/charged? Audi? Driver? The Car?!

Then it would be disabled. :D
