Speedo out / Odometer correct!

Hi Guys,
After owning my D3 for coming on 3 yrs I always knew the Speedo over read the speed by approx 5% with the standard size tyres. With my oversize LTZ's on it reads just about spot on.

However I noticed on a trip away this week over a marked 5km speedo check that the Odometer actually reads correctly with the standard tyres on!

Perhaps this is to keep the actual distance travelled correct but also to keep you under the speed limit! :wasntme:

Yep that is the way it is set up in the CCF 2.5% +3.0kph or the other way around? That's the case with my D4 anyways

It's a standard over-read on all modern cars and trucks. My D4 is around 5.5% out, but may be the non-standard General Grabber ATs.
