I thought you had a D3 HSE, which is air suspension rather than conventional shocks and springs. Are you talking about converting your suspension?
[EDIT] I should add that I'm not aware that ARB are offering air suspension parts, which is the alternative scenario to my question above.

When I went in they said they could... Does this mean I would lose my access height capability

I dont have a D3/4, but I can not imagine at all in the case of this vehicle that ARB would be able to do a better job than the factory air suspension.

Most get the electronic LLAMS suspension unit - chat to Graeme on here as he designed and manufactures the unit.

If you're talking about converting to conventional shocks and springs, then you would lose all ability to vary your height. It would be fixed at one height permanently.

And many on here would call you mad for for doing that. :D

I would imagine that he was unaware, as only the base level D3 S has springs/shocks.

You would also use Terrain Response settings as well.

Hi guys, just to confirm, we don't have any Old Man Emu products suitable for the air suspended Discoveries. Coil models only.
Cheers, Sam.

Hi Rohan, we only have coils available for the D3. The original equipment struts are retained during fitment.
Cheers, Sam.

What about replacement shocks in the airbag models? They don't just ride on bags of air! (afaik) :)

Bilstein and Koni make replacement aftermarket shocks for the D3, but reviews are mixed. Do a search on here.
