own and have had my 2003 td5 for 2 years now and after owning 80 series turbo diesel landcruiser and 100 series petrol model i much prefer my landy. have had no real dramas with the landy in this time, great truck!!! done a few miles in it now and was wondering how often the timing belt should be done?? i guess every 100,000 k's........???? could anyone enlighten me please? and is it very expensive and hard to do??? as i do all my own services every 9-10,000 k's and so far have had no trouble other than radiator hose (easily fixed) and seat belt retractor which i fixed today. any timing belt information would be greatly appreciated. vehicle has done 254,000 k's now and still going strong. cheers mick

The TD5 doesn't have a timing belt, it has a chain, and there isnt a recommended replacement interval to my knowledge.
