D1 Vs D2 gutter to gutter width

Trying to settle an argument.
Is the D1 roof the same width gutter to gutter as the D2?
Will a D1 roof bars or rack fit a D2 without alteration?
Anyone with a D1 then a D2 tried to fit bars or roof rack from one to the other?

Got both at home at the moment...

On the two examples I have available, they are within 3mm of each other, the D1 the ever so slightly larger. Allowing for measuring tolerance, I'd say they are exactly the same.

Measurements are from outer gutter to outer gutter.

To me, I'd say that racks or bars from both models would be interchangeable without issue.

i took my ARB rack from my D1 and it fitted straight onto my D2

I thought they were the same also. Out of interest, I have a defender roof rack on my disco2
