Old Defender Mag Wheels - problem

Hope this makes sence. !!

I put this out there and see where it goes.

Problem. Short version will seem like the long version. Kill me.

I have a Track Trailer Eagle(Early Tvan chasis) classic camper with old Landrover wheels on it.

Problem is I have a Disco 2 so the wheels don't match anyway.
Problem 2 is the hubs were once Toyota 6 Stud and some very cleaver ? person changed the hubs to 5 stud Landrover to match his Old Defender. But old holes still in hub and studs are too short overall a bodgy job.

In summary need to tidy this up before big trip north in winter.

I cant see any way to make the hubs to suit Disco 2 but need to change wheels.

Any suggestions ? have photo of one of the four wheels. Looking to sell these oldies and ofset cost of new electric hubs and wheels etc.

Any assistance appreciated. Have photo but file bit too big will try and reduce
file size.

IIRC, the Track vans were running AlKo brake assemblies, the problem is that at 1600KG max axle load on the T-Van you need to have 2000kg parrallel bearings and the bearing size has a hub that is too large a diameter to fit through the centre of the D2 wheel centre.

Otherwise you could merely swap the current hub for a Commodore PCD, but they only have a max axle load of 1450kg. The only other option would be a hub adapter to space the rim out and clear the end of the current hub. Unfortunately spacers/adapters are illegal in Oz. :(

Your best compromise is to replace the current hubs with ones pre-drilled for Defender 5 X 6.5" PCD re-drilled to take 16mm Defender wheelnuts to make it safe and then carry a spare. Not very satisfactory. (Wouldn't it be good if someone machined up some good quality adapters and didn't tell the RTA.)
