yes quite nice to have all the HSE extras :-) and drives quite well, will not be mooding it beside LLAMS and a remap. My "old" one, beside all the gear but chipped, still feels more responsive.
will need new tires tomorrow as I'm driving on slicks think gor for another set of AT3 coopers.

They buff out. They do promise !
I did a trip in the VHC over Christmas and even I was a little shocked when I finished at the state of the cars exterior, pretty marked up. My Wife was less than impressed.
But once at home with a wash and 1.5 hr with some Turtle swirl and scratch (I think was the product) and a buufer on the drill and even my wife thought it looked like new.
There are still one or two deeper scratched but all the smaller marks GONE !
Now I know you are happy to challenge the S but just think how jealous the HSE will be if she (I assume she is a she) only ever allowed to wear ballet slippers and a tutu when she really want work boots and overalls every now and then !!!
Hopefully the new one gives you years of trouble free motoring and a little extra luxury !

thanks George will need to give the polish a go as that scratches do hurt every day I seem them. The HSE just got a tutu in form of Coppers H/T Plus 265/50/1856000 and hey a bit of jealousy does not harm the girl

I thought all D3/4's were male. At least that's what the FAQ's say!
Are you sure this one hasn't been castrated?

Hmm.... I wonder if I can convince my wife that the price of a HSE D3 has now dropped to the point when it makes economic sense to buy one as a daily drive...
Then I can build up a Sunday car..... hang on, I am already using that excuse for the White Whale D3 TDV6S..... OK a Saturday and more comfortable tow vehicle, with benefit of access height just for her....
I'll give it a shot!

just had a service done by Peter Davis (except transmission oil and sump and the belts) and he had a good look at "shiny" and it seems like the car is very well maintained and was a good purchase :D.
still have to fix a couple of small things but then we are happy campers :-)
