G'day all!
I'm going through the lengthy process of getting my ex-MOD 110 (1986 MY) legally road registered. One step here involves an identity check of the vehicle. The trouble is, I cannot find its VIN stamped on the chassis somewhere. According to the information available it should be "stamped on the right-hand side of
the chassis forward of the spring mounting turret", but I cannot find anything there, even after carefully scraping away all paint and dirt. Anywhere else I should look for that number? I don't want to turn up at the check facility with a VIN stamped in rather dodgily by myself, if I can avoid it.
