Coolant tank cap for D2A TD5?

Hi everyone, hope your Australia Day long weekend is going well. Quick question re coolant tank caps...I need one ASAP, the State LR Dealer do not keep them in stock...???...they have to get one from Melbourne...and I am trying to source a third party product. Sprints in SA have apparently never kept them, the CPC catalogue is wrong and lists the same part for every LR ever made, but I managed to get on to one at Repco, it looks very similar, has the same pressure rating, and looks like it might do the job. It is a CPC part no 574/140, for a BMW 3 series of some sort. Does anyone know of any other caps or suppliers that may help me out please, mine sort of works then won't pressurise some times and will at others. It looks like the flat rubber ring in the top of it is stuffed. Any help much appreciated..

Can't really help you out but I know the dealer has them for about $45 and the UK has the same for about $20. You can also get an aftermarket one for about $12 from the UK.

Depending how desperate you are you could always try a wrecker for a short term solution.

Pretty sure the p38 has the same cap.
