Hi all,

Trying to measure the sag in front end of defender from factory height to adequately select new king springs.

Have on front:
Arb steel which bar
Warn 9500
Spotlights
Bonnet mounted 235/85 on disco 1 rim

Can someone send me the factory measurement please? Also, if anyone has similar setup on front what updated springs did you go for?

Thanks in advance

Do a search, this has been covered a few days ago, thread started by Mike Beecham.

King Springs for the front should be KRFR-03 or KRFR-03HD. With a steel rope and bonnet mounted spare Id suggest the HD's.

This will give you approx a 30mm lift by the time everything is all settled in.

As for the Rears, KLRR-05, or if your heavily loaded ALL the time, KLRR-05HD.

Hi Oliver

I have a 96 110 with the same equipment, bump stop to the ground is 520mm with brand new 235/85/16 s

Rubber Bump stop to axle stop is 90mm.

Only thing different to yours is I'm not feeling energetic to get the spare spare out and mount on the bonnet!

From memory I think I have the HD 130 springs

Hope this helps

If you have 90mm between the bumps stop and pad your springs are taller than stock.

Standard 130 HD springs, LR/ARB bar and a Warn XD900 winch + wire and you'll have around 65mm or so between the BS and pad.
