Does anyone know any outlets in Australia for Brittish threaded bolts such as BA and BSF.

Thankyou.

Cheers, Mick.

There's a sticky in the Series forum.

Not too far from you either.

Am always happy to add other vendors, but don't want the thread filled up with chat so PM me the details.

Shipping might make them expensive but when I lived in the UK I used these guys Namrick - The Nut & Bolt Store (http://www.namrick.co.uk/)
If you look under the 'Mixed Packs' section you will find BA.

A few other links :-

Classic Fasteners (http://www.classicfasteners.com.au/)
BSF Bolts Mordialloc, VIC (http://www.hotfrog.com.au/Companies/BSF-Bolts)

Some of the miniature steam suppliers carry BA bolts screws etc.

Bruce Gardner trades as B.S.F. Bolts in Melbourne. Mobile 'phone is 0408 056 255. Bruce has BSW, BSF, BSC, BA fasteners and BA taps and dies including some left hand. I stock BSW, BSF, BSC, BSP taps and dies.

Edit- If you are looking for high grade fasteners in British threads, equivalent SAE Grade 5 & 8 you may have difficulty. There are nowadays very few, if any, firms still making them. If you find any you can pretty well guarantee that they are very old stock. Unbrako may still have some socket head fasteners but their catalogue no longer lists them as current lines.
