Hi,
I am looking into buying 4x Cooper LTZ Zeons 255/55/R19, and know the local RRP is $475ea (Edit: Thanks to someone's PM, I have found a local dealer at $415ea).
I wanted to see if anyone has suggestions/experience with getting these imported from the USA? I tried onlinetires.com but their FedEx Air is $9xx which makes it not worthwhile. Some friends had 4 performance car tyres imported from tirerack.com at $380, but they don't do Coopers.
Anyone know any place in the USA that does Coopers?
Thanks!

Why Coopers? ... not being critical, genuinely interested. I've had a set of their H/T for the past 6 yrs but only done about 40,000 km. I just find that they're as hard as nails on broken bitumen even running at 30 psi ...

No worries, no offense taken, still open to ideas/ options.
Firstly, usage:
My OEM's have lasted 40,000km and not too much left in them. Probably only 200-300km's have been on dirt and tracks/trails. The rest is mostly (75%) is in the city. I am hoping that as the kids get older, and as I get more experience to get significantly more time doing some proper tracks over the next years.
Choices:
I have used Coopers H/T's on my last 4 vehicles and found them to be a little harder than OEMs, but last much better.
My other potential choice was the Pirelli Scorpion A/T, but I heard that this might possibly wear down faster than the OEMs, so given that I don't do much off-road, this may not be the tyre for me right now to get the extra potential out of it.

Eddomac, I have Cooper LTZ in 19" and I am happy with them. If you are using them predominately on bitumen you will find they have a slight hum which may not suit you.
I ran mine for 25000 on a mixture of roads in the outback and have for normal roads put the GY back on, but I now have 2 sets of rims so when I play it is easy to swap. The Coopers are only half worn and were not damaged at all on poor rocky roads. My two bob's worth...

I borught some Cooper Zeon 275/45 R20 last year from St George Tyres online in Sydney. $280 per tyre, $80 delivery per set. They have excellent prices. Worth giving them a call.

My 2003 130 had the Michellins on it when purchased new which I got 80,000kms. I replaced them with Bridgestone Mud Duellers which have so far travelled 130,000kms. They are at th end soon and would have more life in them if I had rotated them more frequently but for the price I paid (can't remember exactly, around $280 ea) I know what I will be replacing them with.

Thanks all for the suggestions. I have picked up a set of 5 at a great price (locally from a RRC member), so they are now sitting in my garage waiting to be mounted by the end of February. :D

Great tyres, I have done 18k on mine, 98% bitumen on a recent Vic, NSW, QLD, NT, SA trip - No issues, just turned up the tunes volume!
Handles the odd alpine range tracks pretty good also. Snow - not a problem.
Nice choice!
Shane.

Is this from the tyre place you pointed me to?
