No Mate, on the live cam, not the historical views, The rain on the cam was actually from the water bomber, All your going to see on it now was is specs of light from Hotham Village. Have another look tomorrow.

Still burning, time to go

The water is from the Snow making machines. They have them in operation and it is this that you were seeing. All aircraft including Helicopters were grounded. Pics to come.

Latest report about an hour ago is that the fire is contained around Hotham village and No Losses to Property. It burnt around the slopes mainly and some parts of the village. Now burning slowly toward Slatey cutting!

Fire behaviour should be very slow overnight and there should be some rain tomorrow. Hotham was forecast for Snow on Saturday but I see this doesn't look to be the case though a low of -1 and a frost for Saturday should slow things right up.
