Just noticed the roof lining has sagged down above the rear seats.
Has anyone fixed this in their car?

Would appreciate any advice on a remedy.
Thanks
Craig

Don't think there is a way. Once the lining comes free from its backing, it's out with the panel and a whole new material glued on.

Thanks catch-22, thats scary.

Anyone know how difficult it is to pull out the headlining?
Are there destructions anywhere?

Section 76-3-34 of the genuine Raqnge Rover 2002-2005 MY Workshop Manual gives instructions. Do you have access to this manual?

Mines done the same thing, and is on the 'to do' list. Doesn't look hard to get out, just a bit fiddly. I would just take everything off the roof until it falls off...

Looks like it would come straight out the back with a bit of jiggling.

let us know how you go, as I need to do this soon myself.:)

Cheers - Gav.

Instructions for removal are in RAVE, mine done the same, one hot day in the sun 40+ and down she came, I have read threw how to remove the headboard and it aint going to be easy. Predict lots of broken clips and dirty marks on the lining.

Thanks uteman, No I dont have the manual - is it too long to paste in here?

Even once we get the roof lining out, what do we do with it?
Take it somewhere to get redone? Any ideas

So I have a quote for $450 installed for the roof lining, from a guy in Beerwah, Qld.

Says it's a big job to take out, and would have to re-do the sunroof as well to make it match.

So $450 is WAY more expensive than I was hoping....

It's not often you get to spend less on anything on these. Sounds like a reasonable price for the whole job.

If you wanted to save $$$ you could pull it out yourself and take it to them. You'd save a couple of ours labour.
